From humble beginnings…
I was always stuck for ideas when it was someone’s anniversary or birthday and not for wanting to get a gift that ended up in a drawer or gifted away to someone else, I thought about creating something that was bespoke to just that person or friends who had reached a significant anniversary. So Frame the Date started, but at first it was only used by myself. Then family got involved and started asking me to create a frame for their friends, so I thought there could be an opportunity to start a little home-grown business that myself and Lisa could make a success.
Our story…
Having worked within the graphic design industry for over 30 years I have recently left the daily commute up the M1 to Leeds and started my own design business. This has been a great success and has made me realise that working for yourself is the best way to work!
With the freedom of working from home we have also had the joy of owning our first dog, Roman!
It has given us the confidence to now start Frame the Date and with hard work and determination we hopefully will see it grow into something special.
